Morning tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur (260 Kms/5 – 6 Hrs)

Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan was given a color coat of pink a century ago in honor of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this color. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur

After breakfast visit the Amber Fort in the Aravali Hills, which is a super example of Rajput (Medieval Hindu) style architecture. An elephant ride takes you to the top of the Fort and till main entrance, which houses several graceful buildings. Afternoon – tour of City Palace and Observatory. The City Palace in the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthan and Mughal architecture. The Palace of winds – a five storied structure of pink sandstone, was originally built to enable the ladies of the royal house to watch everyday life. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (245 Kms/5 – 6 Hrs)

Drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Abandoned city) enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Continue drive to Agra and upon arrival check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Agra – Delhi (204 Kms/4 – 5 Hrs) & Departure Delhi

By: International Flight

Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience.
